Since 2012, for monthly Vulnerability Vigils on the street, I created signs to hold in front of my naked, exposed body. The words above in block letters are some of those signs.
My street actions have evolved. For Monday's action I plan to lay the signs in a kind of running track oval around Harris Green Park at Pandora between Vancouver and Cook. I'm going to run/ugly dance around the oval for a while. I am inspired by Terry Fox and Steve Fonyo and really want to push against the anthropocene by running across Canada in a naked Marathon of Hopelessness. But, for now, I'll do a mini-marathon.
