Remembrance Day Vulnerability Vigil, November 11, 11 am

Human Body Project Vulnerability Vigil for November will take place at 11 am on Remembrance Day.

We will honour and remember our own vulnerability, as well as those humans living in war zones who are among the world's most vulnerable.

Sunday, November 11
11 am
TransCanada (Douglas) and McKenzie, Victoria, BC

For Human Body Project Vulnerability Vigils, I commit to showing up naked and vulnerable in public.

In a gesture of gentleness to those who are affronted by nudity, I, along with whomever joins me, hold a large sign that says "VULNERABLE" in front of me.

People who join me can choose to be as dressed as they wish.

I hope you will consider joining me or consider holding your own Vulnerability Vigil wherever you live.

Recently, I wrote an explanation of why I do the Human Body Project for my 5- and 10-year-old daughters, which seemed to help grown-ups understand as well:

I've committed to holding at least one Human Body Project Vulnerability Vigil a month during 2012.
