Here we are at the last Vulnerability Vigil. We are always a bit of a spectacle for the tourists. (That's me in the hat with my little one helping us out.)
One woman, who looked like she might be from India, took our picture and said: "This is not my culture."
I said: "This is not my culture either."
It's always challenging for me to put myself out there like this.
My friend and colleague Anne Cirillo and I are deciding where the next Vigil should be.
We're thinking the heart of Esquimalt in a couple of weeks. Stay tuned.
